PRECISE COSTING

Regular communication throughout keeps you updated on progress and necessary changes to the schedule of work. If anything is added or removed from our original agreement, details will be given in writing, with any changes in price presented for your approval before we continue. Working this way ensures there are no unknowns and no hidden extras.

Our Community

We want to help as many people discover a personal connection to the natural world with us as possible. By highlighting the symbiotic relationship that exists between us and our environment, we aim to help our community experience the restorative power of nature and the happiness we feel from living more in tune with it.

Right now, we do this through our blog and magazine, Planting the Seed, sharing what inspires us and shapes our work. We include useful guides, tips, news and insights, and showcase exciting work from other creatives who share our approach.

Our work to date has included a not-for-profit initiative named The Indoor Gardening Club which showed people how they could garden without access to an outside space, and the creation of a productive garden in a local secondary school for students with diverse educational needs.

We are always looking for opportunities to support and inspire our community through pro bono work and charitable donations and encourage anyone with an idea to get in touch.

Our Environment

The UK’s gardens are larger than all our national nature reserves combined and with over half of the country’s wild species declining in the past fifty years, offer a tremendous opportunity to conserve life under threat.

By increasing biodiversity, we believe our work has the potential to protect and improve our environment, but we also know it has an unavoidable footprint. We recognise our negative environmental impact as a cost of running our company and donate a self-imposed earth tax of 1% of our annual sales to The World Land Trust as an offsetting measure.

As makers, now more than ever, we believe it is critical to demonstrate a deep respect for our world’s often-finite resources. By advocating timeless design that puts environmentalism first and being strict on wastefulness and excess across all aspects of our work, we are demonstrating our commitment to the long-term wellbeing of our clients, our community, our team, and our environment.
