12th July – National Simplicity Day
Although Simplicity Day is a national campaign created for the US, we think spending a day appreciating the simpler things and reflecting on the most important things in our lives is worth celebrating everywhere. We intend to join in by having a day free from the complications and busyness of modern life. We’ll be disconnecting our tech, connecting to nature, exploring, playing, laughing, breathing, feeling and just living in the moment!
25th July – Behind the scenes at Great Dixter
We have been visiting Great Dixter Gardens at every given opportunity since it opened up for the season. There’s an exciting lineup of events for the year, we were particularly delighted to see this Behind the scenes tour coming up.
26th July – International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem
On this day Unesco aims to raise awareness of the importance of our planet’s fast disappearing mangrove ecosystems and help promote solutions for their sustainable management, conservation and uses.
