July Plant Hero

Nature

Geranium macrorrhizum “Ingwesren’s Variety”. is our naturalistic planting hero for this month. These low maintenance, all-rounder plants are incredibly tough despite their lovely gentle appearance. They help prevent weed growth and flower in soft pink for half the year.

Naturalistic planting is a great way to encourage Butterflies and Moths by providing shelter, nectar and caterpillar food. Some of our favourite nectar plants include Forget-Me-Not, Allium, Red Campion, Salvia, Verbena bonariensis and Hemp Agrimony.
